Give the model working context
State the audience, offer, goal and voice before asking for content. Without context, AI fills the gaps with generic assumptions.
Include the situation that created the task. A prompt for an established consultant should not sound like one for a new consumer brand.
Describe the structure and constraints
Name the format, length, required points, prohibited claims and desired call to action. Constraints reduce random variation and make the first draft easier to evaluate.
Ask for a specific reasoning structure: problem, practical idea, example, objection and action. This is clearer than asking the model to make something engaging.
Treat output as a draft
Check accuracy, specificity, tone and usefulness. Replace invented examples, remove repetition and add judgment that comes from real experience.
Save prompts that work, but keep improving the context. A reusable system is more valuable than a long list of isolated commands.
